I love travelling, even though I don't do nearly as much of it as I would like.
So, when we found out that our son had an allergy to dairy, we were a little bummed, but we were able to take him to Scotland and managed to keep him fed and avoided anything with dairy products in it - it was easy because he was only nine months old and on a steady diet of jarred yuck and breast milk. :)
Imagine our surprise four months later when we found out that he was also extremely allergic to peanuts, sesame, and eggs. Bah. No more travelling for us, right?
Nah! Granted, since then, we have no been on any "big trips" but we have taken weekend jaunts and are thinking of planning a big trip sometime this year. On this blog, I would like to share some of our tips, hints and adventures. I'd also like to convince myself that our days of travelling are not over because of my little dude's allergies. The travelling is just a little different. :)
